Man accused of injuring group with a knife

SINCLAIRVILLE – An Ohio man has been arrested for allegedly injuring multiple people with a knife.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies as well as New York state troopers responded to an address on Route 60, Sinclairville Tuesday around 8:50 p.m. for a report of a male armed with a knife involved in a physical altercation.

The suspect was identified as Calvin Gibson-Harrison, 61, of Toledo.

Police allege that after the physical altercation, Gibson-Harrison then grabbed a large knife and started to cut individuals who were at the scene, resulting in several of the individuals being transported to medical facilities and/or needing medical assistance.

Gibson-Harrison was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and two counts of second-degree assault. He was taken to the county jail so he could be arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Program.
