A Jamestown woman is facing second-degree assault and driving while intoxicated charges after striking a pair of individuals in a parking lot early Saturday.

Brittany A. Smith, 31, was charged after Jamestown Police officers responded to the area of The Wine Cellar for a fight around 1:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, officers learned Smith struck two individuals in a parking lot with her vehicle. Smith’s vehicle then struck two parked vehicles.

One victim refused treatment and the second was transported to the hospital with injuries. Smith was found to be under the influence of alcohol during this incident. She was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment.
