Parolee Facing Gun, Drug Charges In City
Terry L. Kendall, 33, was charged with two counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon after a Tuesday morning incident.
At about 8:14 a.m. officers responded to an eastside address to assist state Parole with a home check as a part of a detail. Upon making contact with Kendall inside the residence, he was found to be lying on a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson semi-automatic handgun. Officers were able to place Kendall into custody without incident.
While inside the residence, officers located a total of 28.1 grams of crack cocaine, numerous digital scales, U.S. Currency, and 10 grams of an unknown substance adapted for the dilution of a narcotic drug or stimulant.
Kendall was being held pending arraignment.
