Pair Facing Drug Possession Charges After Morning Raids

Two Jamestown men are facing drug possession charges after police raided two homes early Wednesday.
Taken into custody were 45-year-old Ramon L. Nieves Fagot and 41-year-old Jarvelle E. Leeper.
The first of two search warrants was executed Wednesday at 850 Prendergast Ave. where Nieves Fagot, an adult woman and a juvenile were located. A search reportedly turned up 75 vials of fentanyl, 26 vials of cocaine, a small quantity of methamphetamine and a small quantity of crack cocaine, the Jamestown Police Department announced.
Nieves Fagot was additionally found with 170 bags of fentanyl and $1,623.
At 13 Crossman St., police located Leeper and an adult woman. A search found 4.9 grams of fentanyl and packaging equipment used for the distribution of narcotics, JPD announced.
Nieves Fagot is facing two counts each of third- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Leeper was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.
The Jamestown Police Department was assisted Wednesday by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Dunkirk Police Department, Ellicott Police Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Services and Jamestown Fire Department.
