Armando Z. Hernandez-Tirado, 23, has been charged with second-degree assault after striking and biting an employee at a Jamestown hospital.

Jamestown Police report they were called to UPMC Chautauqua around 11:15 p.m. Thursday for the assault. It was reported to officers that the suspect Hernandez-Tirado of Dunkirk was involved in the incident.

He was located at the hospital and taken in to custody. He was transported to the city jail and held pending arraignment.
