Two Charged After Search Of King Street Home

Two Jamestown residents face drug charges after a search of a home on King Street early Thursday morning.
Samuel L. Arrington, 41, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A-2 felony, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug parephernalia and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon while Desire Williams, 32, was charged with endangeirng the welfare of a child.
At 8:07 a.m., members of the Jamestown Police Department were assisting parole officers with a home visit at Samuel L. Arrington’s home on King Street. While conducting a search, parole officers located a shotgun, white powdery substance and ammunition. The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force was contacted and requested to assist with the investigation; subsequently applying for a search warrant for the residence. A search revealed a loaded .357 caliber revolver, 12 gauge shotgun, ammunition for both guns, 107.9 grams of powder cocaine, 119.8 grams of fentanyl, scales, and $2,301.
Arrington and Williams were taken to the Jamestown City Jail. Williams’ charge came because there was a young child present in close proximity to the drugs found in the house.
