Three charged in Dunkirk narcotics investigation

Three Dunkirk residents are facing drug charges following a two-month investigation of narcotic sales out of a home on Lincoln Avenue.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, on Friday the Dunkirk Police Department along with Dunkirk Police Special Response Team, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators and Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant at 122 Lincoln Ave upper apartment.

Inside the residence at the time of the warrant execution was 40-year-old Alenjandro Gonzalez-Virola, 25-year-old Jose Pacheco and 31-year-old Octavia Brown. As a result of the search investigators allegedly found 5.41 grams of crack cocaine and $591 in US currency.

Both Gonzalez-Virola and Pacheco were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and first-degree criminal nuisance. Brown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Gonzalez-Virola and Pacheco were transported to the Dunkirk Police Department to be arraigned in the City of Dunkirk Court. Brown was transported to Dunkirk Police Department and issued an appearance ticket.
