School budget vote tallies once again were overwhelmingly positive. Here are the results as provided by the districts:
— Cassadaga Valley appoves budget, 203-64; modification of capital project, 210-57; Diane Ellsworth won the one board seat with 140 votes. Jack Anderson had 82 and Laura Fiorella had 45 for school board.
— Chautauqua Lake budget passes 326 to 101; board elections include Travis Bensink, Jennifer Obert and Zach Stahlsmith winning three-year terms. Jessup Baker has one-year term.
— Clymer budget passes 139 to 60; Rachel Kinal was uncontested for a five-year board seat.
— Falconer school budget passes 104-13; capital improvement project OK’d 104 to 13; Mark Wilcox gets five-year term with 102 votes and Heather Cardot gets two-year term with 90 votes.
— Fredonia schools budget passes 312-185; student board member position passes as well.
— Jamestown schools budget was passed 555 to 127; creation of $5 million capital reserve OK’d 575 to 101; Paul Abbott, Christine Schnars and John Panebianco won three-year board seats.
— Gowanda passes budget, bus purchase, modification of transportation reserve and library budget. Zachary C. Nobles and Mark D. Nephew elected to three-year board terms.
— Pine Valley budget passes 108 to 92; proposition for a student member of school board passes 150 to 39;m Angelica Astry, Jeffrey Chase, Kara Frontuto and Christie Lokietek won school board seats.
— Sherman approved budget 143-84; two school buses, 157-71; $11.95 million capital project 129 to 99. Teresa Guzman ran unopposed for one five-year term with 179 votes.
— Silver Creek’s budget passes 136 to 37; Gregory Cole wins another five-year board term.
— Southwestern approves budget, bus proposition, 199 to 66.
— Westfield Academy & Central School budget passes 359 to 86; proposition for capital reserve approved 371 to 70. Andrew Thompson and Kimberly Maras win board seats.
