They All Led Small Screen Double Lives
Throughout the history of television, we’ve been able to relate to some actors/actresses by their character names on our favorite shows, but as all good things come to an end, all of our favorite shows either have, or will end at some time. Many of those performers aren’t always ready to retire from their craft, and so some smart casting directors of new shows might give those veteran, newly unemployed stars a call (or text, or tweet, or whatever) and ask them if they might want to audition for a role in the new show being developed for the small screen.
In years of watching television, I’ve come across many of my favorite performers who’ve spent many years as one person, then came back to assume the role of someone else. In the genre of the television industry, they led double lives.
Someone recently told me there hasn’t been a test of memory from the keyboard of the VFTB for a long while, so maybe it’s time we do it again.
This latest challenge will be to take the character name in each example, and come up with the double life character the actor who played both roles portrayed. Not looking for the actor’s/actress’s name, but the role of the second character they made famous on television. To make it even more challenging, you won’t receive the actor’s/actress’s name, or the either of the programs they made famous, so memories will be put to test even more.
Answers will follow as has been the habit, so get as many as you can and Good Luck!
