SHERIDAN — A Dunkirk man has been charged after a road rage incident Friday afternoon.

At around 4:56 p.m., the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, received a complaint on Route 20. An investigation found that during the incident, Allan R Barreca, 54, did place another individual in fear of death or physical injury by displaying what appeared to be a deadly weapon.

Barreca was issued an appearance ticket charging him with one count of second-degree menacing. Barecca was released and will be in Sheridan town court later.
