Meth, Fentanyl Find Leads To Charges For City Man

A search warrant last week in the town of Ellicott led to the arrest of a Jamestown man after officers found a slew of drugs and accessories.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Jamestown Police Department SWAT and Jamestown Police Department executed the warrant on a room at the Clarion Pointe Hotel, located at 2800 N. Main St. around 3:15 p.m. Friday. In the hotel room at the time of the warrant execution was 37-year-old Bart M. Bartlett. As a result of the search, investigators found 70.3 grams of methamphetamine, 15.8 grams of fentanyl, scales and packaging material and $663 in U.S. currency. Bartlett was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Bartlett was transported to the Centralized Arraignment Program at the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Jail.
