Trees, Utility Lines Take Brunt Of Afternoon Storm

A storm that moved quickly through the south county Monday afternoon downed trees and power lines. In the Jamestown area, the storm arrived around 2:30 p.m. Not long after, trees, tree limbs and utility lines were reported to be down across the city. The Jamestown Board of Public Utilities noted isolated power outages as a result of the storm. Pictured is a tree that fell next to Washington Middle School.
