An electrical fire is being blamed in a barn fire on Sunday morning in Ellery. Chautauqua County sheriff’s fire investigation team responded to Ellery Centralia Road around 11:30 a.m. to assist in determining the cause and origin of a structure fire. Investigators determined the fire originated within a small animal barn which contained goats and chickens. A number of those animals were saved by the owners and community members who stopped to assist.
