GERRY — A town resident wanted by Lakewood-Busti Police Department has been picked up by Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies.

At about 9:36 a.m. Saturday, deputies observed Jeffrey Holmberg, 29, within a motor vehicle on Nobles Road. The vehicle was stopped and Holmberg was arrested. While speaking with the vehicle’s occupants, deputies found that one individual had an active order of protection against Holmberg. Holmberg was additionally charged with second-degree criminal contempt.

He was sent to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned.
