State Police Charge Dunkirk Man With Possessing Child Porn

A Dunkirk resident has been charged with 10 counts of possession child pornography.

New York State Police at Jamestown reported on Wednesday they arrested Joseph Campbell, 43, on Sept. 21 after receiving information that child pornography had been uploaded using an IP address and account that were later determined to be Campbell’s.

A search warrant was executed at Campbell’s residence where several items of evidence were seized. An analysis of the items by the New York State Computer Crime Unit revealed hundreds of images and videos of child pornography. After an arrest warrant was issued, Campbell was located in Jamestown and placed under arrest.

Campbell was then processed at Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
