A 20-year-old man reportedly wanted on rape charges out of Maryland was located earlier this month in West Ellicott.

The Ellicott Police Department announced the arrest of Candido Flores-Bonilla on July 13. The man, whose home address wasn’t listed, was wanted out of Prince Georges County in Maryland.

He was found on Fairmount Avenue, the department said Thursday in a news release.

The 20-year-old was charged with being a fugitive from justice and was sent to Chautauqua County Jail. He was awaiting extradition to Maryland.
