RIPLEY — At about 10 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an address in the Town of Ripley for a altercation.

Upon arrival it was found Carolyn M. Torrance, 78, of Ripley did obstruct the breathing of another person, and threatened physical harm to this person.

Torrance was charged with Criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, second-degree aggravated harassment, second-degree harassment. Torrance was taken the the Chautauqua County Jail for Centralized Arraignment.
