SINCLAIRVILLE -- A 45-year-old village resident has died after an accident Friday afternoon.
Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to Rood Road in the town of Charlotte for the report of a motor vehicle accident with personal injury. Deputies arrived on scene and located Edward McAlister, who had sufferednn serious injuries, as the result of a one vehicle accident.
Deputies and EMS rendered medical aid to Edward McAlister, but due to the extent of McAlister’s injuries, the he was pronounced deceased on scene.
An investigation revealed that Edward McAlister was operating a motorcycle south on Rood Road. The motorcycle left the west side of Rood Road, causing the motorcycle to crash. No charges are expected to be filed as a result of this investigation.
