FREDONIA — Serious injuries have been reported in a Route 60 rollover crash near Fredonia. The crash, involving at least two vehicles, occurred around 3 p.m.

A witness said one of the vehicles involved rolled more than once before coming to rest on its roof.

Two helicopters were summoned to transport the injured while an ambulance took another to the hospital by ground.

In addition to Fredonia first responders, the New York State Police, Alstar EMS, Dunkirk and Cassadaga firefighters were also called.

Route 60 has been closed to traffic, between Eagle Street and Lakeview Avenue.
