A Jamestown man accused of breaking into a northside home, then caught attempting to enter another, is facing burglary charges.

Cody A. DiDomenico, 27, was waiting to appear in Jamestown City Court for arraignment on charges of second-degree burglary, trespass and two counts of petit larceny.

Officers responded at 4:45 p.m. Sunday to a Falconer Street residence for a reported burglary in progress. The homeowner told officers he heard someone upstairs in his home and called 911. An investigation found that DiDomenico allegedly broke into the residence and took a cellphone and other property.

DiDomenico was later found “as he was attempting to enter another city resident’s home,” Jamestown police said in a news release. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail without incident.
