Cassadaga Valley To Host Drive-Through Vaccination Clinic

Chautauqua County residents have several options to getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

A drive-through clinic is taking place today from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Cassadaga Valley School bus garage, 5935 Route 60. The drive-through clinic will provide the Pfizer vaccine to anyone 16 years of age or older and the Moderna vaccine to anyone over the age of 18.

Second doses, according to the school district in a news release, will be administered at the bus garage on June 8 from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

A clinic is also taking place today at Gowanda Central School. Walk-ins are welcome from 2:30-4:50 p.m.

A walk-in vaccination clinic will take place from 3-6 p.m. Wednesday at Panama Central School, 41 North St.

Clinics also will be held Friday from 8-10 a.m. at Brooks Memorial Hospital, 529 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Those who wish to attend can register at chqgov.com/public-health/covid-19-vaccination-clinics.

Several pharmacies also have vaccines available.

Meanwhile, the county Health Department reported just five new confirmed cases of the virus Tuesday. There are currently 72 active cases, seven people with COVID in the hospital and 388 in quarantine.

To date there have been 9,080 total confirmed cases, 8,856 recoveries and 152 virus-related deaths.
