City Woman Facing DWI Charges
A woman who police say struck a dumpster then a building is facing drunken driving charges.
Jamestown police and firefighters were called to the Southside Plaza Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. for a report of a crash at the 760 Foote Ave. property. It was learned that 64-year-old Melody L. Peterson, of Jamestown, hit a dumpster then backed up into the plaza.
Peterson was transported to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment of minor injuries. She is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to keep right, alcohol in a motor vehicle and failing to submit to an alcohol breath test.
