Methamphetamine and cash were seized during the search of a Jamestown residence early Wednesday.

Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, JPD K-9 unit, Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant around 6 a.m. at 11 E. 15th St.

Inside, investigators found 11.6 grams of meth, 7.6 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, pills, alleged drug packaging materials, scales and cash. “The evidence was seized and the investigation remains ongoing,” Jamestown police said in a news release.

The department said charges are pending.

One of those located inside the residence — 27-year-old Thomas A. Levine of Jamestown — had an outstanding warrant from the Lakewood-Busti Police Department and was turned over to officers at the scene.
