Jamestown KeyBank Among 8 To Close This Year In WNY

A KeyBank branch in Jamestown is among eight set for closure this year.

The local branch, located at 730 Foote Ave. in the Southside Plaza, will close by May 21, the Buffalo News reported Wednesday afternoon. The move is part of a larger consolidation plan by KeyBank announced last month.

The company said seven of the eight branches slated for closure are 2 miles or less away from other locations already in those markets. KeyBank also has branches in Chautauqua County at 417 Spring St., Jamestown; 369 E. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood; and 51 E. Fourth St., Dunkirk.

The other branches impacted include three in Buffalo, two in Amherst, one in Cheektowaga and one in Derby.
