Work was scheduled this week on the roof of city hall in Jamestown.

Chautauqua Mechanical of Falconer was the subcontractor doing work on the roof of the Jamestown Municipal Building, located at 200 E. Third St., Jamestown.

The contractor for the project is Stark Tech Group. Jeff Lehman, city public works director, said a flue liner and a chimney cap were installed Monday and a condenser unit will be installed today.

Prendergast Avenue between Second and Third streets is closed because a crane is being used during the project.
