The Chautauqua County Department of Health on Tuesday announced five new cases of COVID-19. Of the new cases, one is in Fredonia, one in Lakewood, one in Jamestown, one in Celoron and one in Westfield.

The number of active cases dropped, from 120 on Monday to 92 on Tuesday.

Ten people with COVID-19 remain hospitalized, in addition to 691 recoveries, 13 deaths, 796 total confirmed cases and 51,559 negative test results.
