The Chautauqua County Department of Health on Thursday reported 19 new cases of COVID-19. The cases include: six in Jamestown, five in Dunkirk, one in Forestville, two in Fredonia, one in Falconer, one in Frewsburg, two in Lakewood and one in Ripley.

The county Health Department said there remains 11 active cases among employees and 55 active cases among residents associated with Tanglewood Manor. An outbreak at the West Ellicott adult-care facilities were first detected late last week.

Countywide, there remains 120 active cases for those who continue to recover under orders from local health officials. In addition, there have been 698 recoveries, 13 deaths and 831 total confirmed cases.
