Wanted Fugitive Taken Into Custody In Jamestown

A man wanted as a fugitive from justice out of New Hampshire was taken into custody in Jamestown.

The Jamestown Police Department said 42-year-old Shaun Cook was located in a residence on Shasta Drive around 2 p.m. Tuesday by officers. They were assisted by members of the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force.

Cook was wanted for escape from Merrimack County, N.H. He was being held in Jamestown City Jail for arraignment.
