City Man Found With 2.3 Pounds Of Marijuana
A Jamestown man is facing a felony drug charge after police found him with more than 2 pounds of marijuana.
Justin J. Peck, 27, was issued an appearance ticket following a traffic stop at 11 p.m. Thursday in the town of Busti. Peck was a passenger in the vehicle stopped for speeding, and during a check, Lakewood-Busti police reportedly found him in possession of 2.3 pounds of marijuana.
The weight makes the charge — second-degree criminal possession of marijuana — a felony, police said Friday in a news release. The city man is scheduled to appear in Busti Town Court later to answer the charge.
