SALAMANCA — A Cherry Creek man is facing vehicular and drug charges after being stopped on Interstate 86 on Friday evening.

Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies report Gregory Schroeder, 38, of 6900 Main St., was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after being found with crystal methamphetamine. He also was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation after being stopped around 8:40 p.m.

He was issued an appearance ticket for early September in the town court.
