Injuries Reported In Foote Avenue Crash

At least one person was transported to UPMC Chautauqua following a crash Monday afternoon in the city of Jamestown.

Members of the Falconer Fire Department came across the crash involving an SUV on Foote Avenue at the railroad viaduct. Jamestown firefighters, police and Chautauqua County EMS also responded to the scene.

Fire officials said the vehicle may have been involved in another collision prior to the crash at the viaduct.

At least one person was taken to the hospital by Falconer firefighters. The severity of injuries wasn’t immediately known.

Foote Avenue, between Harrison and Crane streets, was closed to traffic. The SUV, which sustained significant front-end damage, was towed from the scene.
