The Frewsburg Fire Company Inc. said the annual Gala Days, which was scheduled for June 10-13, has been canceled.

“It was a very hard decision to make, but the well-being of our attendees and vendors is our top priority,” the department said in a statement. “After carefully considering current federal recommendations, New York state directives, and local mandates related to COVID-19, as well as the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic and logistical issues, the membership reached the decision not to proceed with the event this year. We hope that this passes and we can hold this event next year June 9-12.”
