Two-Vehicle Crash Reported In City

A two-vehicle crash slowed traffic Friday afternoon in Jamestown.

The collision occurred around 1:15 p.m. at the intersection North Main and East Fifth streets.

Members of the Jamestown Police Department, Jamestown Fire Department and Chautauqua County EMS responded. Injuries were reported, though the severity was not immediately known.

A blue SUV sustained significant front-end damage, while a sedan involved came to rest in a nearby parking lot next to a building.

Traffic was closed on North Main Street, and was reduced to one lane on East Fifth Street.
