Shelter In Place Issued For Kennedy

KENNEDY — The New York State Police has issued a shelter in place near Kennedy.

The notice was issued Tuesday around 5:15 p.m. for Route 394, between Route 62 and Wheelock Road. A portion of Route 394 has been closed to traffic in both directions due to “an incident,” an alert issued around 5 p.m. indicated.

Kennedy volunteer firefighters and county EMS were asked to standby at their fire hall to possibly assist troopers.
