Illness Causes Gowanda To Cancel School Friday

The Gowanda Central School District announced Thursday that due to illness, the number of available healthy teachers, staff and subs has made it ineffective to hold school.

Starting Friday, all afternoon and evening activities are canceled through Sunday, including the scrapbook crop event planned Saturday.

Thursday night’s events are still on as scheduled.
