A Jamestown woman is facing charges after she reportedly brought methamphetamine into the Chautauqua County Jail.

Diana L. Bloom, 54, is scheduled to appear in Chautauqua Town Court later on charges of first-degree promoting prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies received word Sunday that an inmate was attempting to bring contraband into the Mayville jail. An investigation found that Bloom had brought meth into the facility, though no further details were made public.
