3 Taken To Hospital After Crash On Interstate

FINDLEY LAKE — Three people were taken to UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pa., after the vehicle they were in crashed Monday morning on Interstate 86.

Randy Hamilton, first assistant chief with the Findley Lake Fire Department, said it appears the vehicle hit a patch of slush and lost control. The vehicle, which sustained significant damage in the crash, came to rest on the westbound on-ramp to the interstate.

None of the injuries to the occupants was considered serious, Hamilton said.

Findley Lake firefighters were assisted by Sherman and South Ripley volunteers.
