SYRACUSE — Twice is nice.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama defeated Moriah 47-6 in today’s New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class D championship game at the Carrier Dome.

The win was the Wolfpack’s second title in as many years.

Today’s opponent was Section VII Moriah (8-3), which roared into the title contest by virtue of a 46-12 rout of Section I Tuckahoe in the East semifinals last weekend.

Last year, Clymer/Sherman/Panama claimed its first state championship by defeating Moriah, 26-6, a game that was a one-possession affair for more than three quarters.
