Search Continues For Missing Panama Woman

PANAMA — Police are asking the public’s help in locating a Panama woman who has reportedly gone missing.

Diana R. Chase, 74, was last seen Sunday around 1:30 p.m. in the area of Blockville Watts Flats Road. She reportedly suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease and may be in need of medical attention, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said.

Chase is believed to have walked away from her home sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. She is 5 foot, 2 inches tall weighing about 160 pounds.

At the time she disappeared, police said she was wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black slip on shoes.

Sheriff’s deputies and Forest Rangers from the New York State Environmental Conservation are asking the public’s help in locating Chase.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
