Lashon Hayes

A Jamestown man has been charged with drug possession after a search warrant was executed at 6:50 p.m. Thursday.

Jamestown police officers, the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and New York State Police K-9 Unit served the search warrant at 51 Fairmount Ave. with assistance from the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team. LeShon Hayes, 39, was found inside along with a half-ounce of heroin and 5.8 grams of fentanyl.

Hayes was taken to the Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
