MAYVILLE — Chautauqua County Executive George Borrello will provide his 2020 tentative budget presentation that he says “holds the line on taxes” to the Chautauqua County Legislature on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The presentation will be during the full County Legislature meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. in the Legislative Chambers of the Gerace Office Building, 3 North Erie St. in Mayville.

“I look forward to presenting my second tentative budget as County Executive,” Borrello said. “The presentation will provide an outline of a responsible budget that holds the line on taxes.”

After Borrello presents his budget, county legislators will begin their review of it by meeting with department heads and determining if any additional modifications are needed. They will then need to pass a final budget for 2020 on or before Dec. 1.

The tentative budget presentation is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend. Residents can also watch the meeting live online by visiting facebook.com/ChautauquaCountyGovernment/ .
