(12:45 PM) Strong Storms Down Trees, Powerlines Locally

The National Weather Service

A line of strong thunderstorms that moved through Western New York on Thursday morning caused some damage, the National Weather Service in Buffalo said.

Trees and powerlines were reported down in the town of Mina locally and in Perrysburg in Cattaraugus County.

According to National Grid, only 12 customers were without power as of 12:45 p.m. Power was expected to be restored by 1:30 p.m.
