(10:55 AM) Good Samaritan Helps Driver In Dunkirk Parking Lot

DUNKIRK — A medical emergency led to a frightening scene at CVS on Fourth Street in Dunkirk on Monday. The driver of this white pickup truck had an unknown medical emergency and was unresponsive. With his foot on the gas pedal, smoke rose from the burning rubber of the tires. According to witnesses, a Good Samaritan was able to open the driver side door and turn the vehicle off. Dunkirk EMTs removed the driver from the vehicle. The driver’s condition is unknown. No one else was injured.
