Jamestown on Thursday was named “City of the Day” by Sirius XM’s ’60s on 6 channel due to the national designation of the National Comedy Center. The recognition was made by DJ Phlash Phelps during his popular morning radio show and came two days after President Donald Trump signed a bill officially designating the NCC as the official National Comedy Center in the country.

Journey Gunderson, comedy center executive director, spoke to Phelps during the show to discuss the importance of the designation.
