Jamestown police are investigating a reported robbery early this afternoon at the 7-Eleven store, 1011 E. Second St.

Details haven’t yet been released because the investigation is just beginning. A Hispanic man covering his face entered the store at 1:47 p.m. and allegedly demanded money from one of the clerks on duty. He then drove away in a silver-colored 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier with the license plate number GWY 4622. The vehicle was reportedly stolen earlier from a Jamestown residence on Kipp Street.
