(10 AM) Pair Charged After Serving Youth Alcohol, Marijuana

CELORON — A Celoron man is facing charges of forcibly touching a juvenile, the Ellicott Police Department announced.

The incident occurred between Aug. 10 and Aug. 11 at 28 E. Lake St. in Celoron. Police learned that 35-year-old Garreth C. Goodworth and 39-year-old John R. Ferry had allowed five juveniles into their residence and served them alcohol and marijuana.

It was also learned that Ferry had “inappropriately touched one of the juveniles,” Ellicott police said in a press release.

Both were charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child and four counts of first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child. Ferry was additionally charged with forcible touching. They were arraigned in Ellicott Town Court.
