A Jamestown man was waiting to be arraigned after he allegedly injured another person using a metal pole.

Charged was 34-year-old Marcus J. Wilson after officers with the Jamestown Police Department responded at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday to the area of West Eighth and Washington streets for a reported altercation.

An investigation found that Wilson attacked another man using a metal pole, causing injury. Wilson was located shortly thereafter and taken into custody.

Wilson was charged with second-degree assault, a class D felony. He was being held in Jamestown City Jail until he could be arraigned.
