POMFRET — The New York State Police reported finding a methamphetamine lab inside a car Wednesday.

The discovery was made following a traffic stop on Webster Road in the town of Pomfret. Troopers reportedly found the methamphetamine inside a red Saturn sedan.

Members of the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team were called. The team searched the car and collected evidence, Capt. Eric Balon of the New York State Police told reporters.

At least one arrest was made, Balon said.

More information was expected to be released later Wednesday.
