Diane Crandall, longtime Myers Memorial Library director, will be honored Tuesday at the Myers Memorial Library in Frewsburg. Crandall’s title was incorrectly published in Thursday’s edition of The Post-Journal.

A story in Thursday’s edition about local town and village election races inadvertently omitted Ben Webb from the Mayville Village Trustee race. Webb, a Republican, is running against Ken Shearer, a Republican, and Sharon Smead, an incumbent Democrat.

The Jamestown Community College Open House is scheduled for Sunday November 13 at 1 p.m. This was incorrectly reported in a previous article.

The West Portland Baptist Church, 7081 E. Route 20, Westfield, between Prospect Station and Pratt Roads, will hold its third annual Apple Butter Festival on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine, at the church.

The Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will be meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the Lakewood Legion at 7 p.m., not on Monday, Oct. 24 as previously stated.

A performance scheduled for Sunday by Doug Brummel, a national speaker and founder of Lighten Up Ministries, at St. John Roman Catholic Church, 270 Newton Ave., Jamestown, has been postponed due to illness. A new date will be announced once it is finalized.
