Correction: Jamestown Bowling Company closure
A court hearing has been scheduled for Aug. 17 in Buffalo to determine why an order to close Jamestown Bowling Company shouldn't be granted. Judge Emilio Colaiacovo amended his order to show cause on Monday. Written briefs in the case are due to be submitted by Thursday with oral arguments set for 2:30 p.m. Monday. While the court has not yet ordered the bowling company to close, it could do so Monday. The Order To Show Cause was incorrectly reported in Tuesday's edition. It was announced Saturday the bowling alley and restaurant would close temporarily. "At this time we don't know for how long but we will keep everyone posted as information becomes available," the Facebook post said. "We are incredibly grateful for all of our friends, customers, employees, and bowlers who have supported us over the years and we ask for everyone's patience while we work through our issues right now.”
